Life Is WONDERFUL

WELL since we have stud service here on the farm (Since Dusty came) we have had two visiting females (Princess and Jacky) this past weekend and Dusty was lovin it. The two females are going to leave today and Sasha will be happy about that because she LOVES living by herself. It will be a relief to only have two dogs to take care of instead of four because it is sooooooo much easier it only take 1/2 an hour instead of an hour and 1/2! Well Puff (the kitty) was not quite shure what to make of having three Sasha's on the farm (the females look like Sasha :) so needless to say she lived in Dusty's dog box (wich was vacant) :) well now Sasha will get her daily walk in every morning instead of evening! And Dusty will hopefully get some walks now as well ! He does alot better on the leash than what Sasha does but that is ok! Ruth Ann said she likes Dusty better! I told her I was offended for her (sasha). Well we celebrated two b-days on December 4th Ruth Ann (human) turned 17 and Sasha (dog) turned 5 I told Ruth Ann that she shares a b-day with Sasha she said "how impressive" (sarcastically) Well I gotta run I got TONS of work that needs to get done and Ruth Ann is home today so maybe she will be willing to lend a hand to her dear sister :)

Yesssssssss

We are making progress Dusty will now actually come out of his box on his own! The only problem is he'll go right back in as soon as he sees me :( We are now working on him coming to me! I can tell he wants to but he just won't. We are also working on fatning him up I am feeding him bacon treats once a day! He is doing wonderfully!

Dusty and Sasha Update

Wow today was an awsome day after we came home from church and we ate Ruth Ann and I went outside and since Dusty is sooooo scared of people and so shy he wouldn't come out of his box without some coaxing so I figured if he saw Sasha he would come out of hi box I brought Sasha down and Ruth Ann hooked Dusty on the leash and then I took Sasha back and then came front and Dusty was ver wary of me. Well when I went to touch him he coward to the ground I gently petted him letting him know that my touch is ok and I won't ever try to hurt him (how somoene can beat a wonderful dog is beyond me) anyways I took him up to the field to see if he would he would be ok walking across the corn fodder he did better than what I thought he would and by the time we were almost at the end of our walk he touch his nose very hesitantly to the ground! After we came back to the farm I took him into the shed that had no lights on (When I took Sasha in there she was so scared I had to coax her) Dusty ont hte other hand walked right in! He suprises me and frustrates me every step of the way! we made headway today but we still have a Loooooooooooooooong way to go before he trusts me completely.

Sasha is doing wonderfly and loves having a companion here on the farm she loves her new shed and rolling in the shavings I will hopefully post pics soon! Well I gotta run.

today we went shopping and we got some awsome stuff (considering I hate shopping) Well hopefully we get the inside of my shed done soon due to the fact it is soon winter and it is cold out!! I will post pics and more comments soon!

Poor dear sasha (Update)

Sasha is not feeling well right now becasue I just changed her food and that gives some dogs Diahhria and unfortunatly Sasha is one of them dogs.....
Solution: Cottage cheese (she LOVES it) and it is helping her!! she is feeling better today than she was yesterday!

Update! :)

My dearie is awsome but very frustrating at times!! Today we were taking family pictures and she would NOT listen and pose very nice she kept turning her head the opisite way than what my cousin (photographer) stood! Well I hopefully will be getting my new dog soon! Sasha got a bath this week so that she would smell good for picture time the new shampoo that I bought for her is vinager based so it has a very strong smell to it but it is a better smell than the kennel smell!

My sister Ruth Ann is buying a new horse and she will hopefull be getting it in about two to three weeks I am SOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO happy for her I know how much she wanted another horse since she got rid of Navajo the horse she is getting now is six yrs old and her name is Daisy and she is a horse that we will brobably breed with because she is a mix and an awsome horse and Ruth Ann can buy her cheap ( we always look for good but cheap animals)!

This weekend we are going out (I am not shure if I am going along yet) to Lake Erie (out west PA) to drop off some parts and to look at the leaves falling off the trees alot of people are saying since it has been so dry lately we are not going to have a beautiful fall this year (oh well there are other years) last year we went up to Niagra Falls it was awsome my cousins live up there and we decided since we were up there we aould visit them we had a great time we later went up again about a month later and we went on a boat ride and we also went to Watkins Glen we had alot of fun (I love hiking if I have good company)!

Anything and Everything

What a gorgous day to praise the Lord! Yeas it may be raining once again but the thing that keeps us going in life is knowing that sometime in the future the sun will come and brighten our day again!! this came to my mind while listening to a song ("I'ts Raining" :Fitting I know)!

Well on to other things: first off I am loving the rain cause I have time to actually sit down at the computer and do things (such as writing on my blog) which i don't get to do otherwise because I am out in the barn!!

My dog /(slash) Tragedy Death

Life is so funny sometimes I went out to check on Sasha today (as you can tell I haven't been doing much today) to see how she was doing because she had her coat on and it was her first day and I wanted to make shure that she was doing ok because if she does not like something than she will chew it off and I payed too much for that to happen!!! It is getting warmer so I took her coat off and we went running to warm her up so she does not get cold and get sick (or worse die)
My dad has a joke I can't cook or keep anything alive (since my fish tragicly died on Wednesday) (and one time they were away and I burnt something in the microwave :) yes in the microwave my sister was not shocked she said I could burn water) anyway hopefully my dog does not feel the need to be six feet under for a few more yrs.!!!! Unfortunatly my poor fish did not get such nice burial it was raining and I did not feel like going out and digging a hole and buring it so I dumped it out and the cats at him (cruel I know) (my family says I am WAY to sensitive but my animals love me for it) so this has been one horrible week because I had just bought a fish bowl that day and had change him (which probably killed from heart failure:) SO now my dad put the law down and said I am NOT alowed to buy another fish so what I did I got brilliant (first time in my life I know) and decided to take the bowl back to the store and get my hard earned money back!! Well that must be all for now cause my brain cannot think of anything else (not the first tim) :) :0 Well it is now time to hit the hay!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!1

Wow can you believe that is it Raining once again and is supposed to rain until Wednesay!! How can one person stand THAT much rain!! Today we are doing things such as picking up tractors and shopping doing stuff that is nice to do these kind of days!!!!
