In my devotions

Trials are inevitable, A part of life. God uses them to refine us, to burn up the dross, to mold us into the image of Jesus Christ. even he was not immune to the difficulties of life. Jesus face persecution, mocking, and death on the cross.

But in the midst of all trouble, Jesus walks beside us. holds our noses above the water; he wraps us in flame retardant clothing. we will not drown nor will we be consumed in the fiery furnace. why? because he ransomed us. he paid sin's penalty ,he delivered us from the slavemarket of sin ,and he calls us by name.

so when you feel like you're drowning in a flood of trouble and difficulty, breathe deeply and relax. body surf across as waves. even if the fire of oppression singes you, remember that his promise says you will not be so consumed. he will satisfy your desires in the scorch places
( Isaiah 58:11)

I love this and it touched my life deeply when I needed it I figured I would share it with you all. it reminded me God will not give us more than we can bear in life.

hope you all have a good rest of the day! and were somehow encouraged through this. I know I was.

My ponderings for the week

We all face different things in life. and we shouldn't judge others how they deal with things in their life because we would never know how we would deal with it if we were in their shoes.

I was reading a book recently by Haley DiMarco it reads:
are you facing a battle that you have to fight? do you have a big trial in front of you that you aren't sure how you're going to overcome?  and take a look at God's word for help. look at the life of the people of Israel. in almost every case all Israel did was go through the Motions of the battle while God himself get all the actual fighting. when you get up get going and going through the motions of something that you've got to do then God will do what he does: win the battle.

when you see something that has to be done you can't sit on your couch waiting for God to do his thing. you are called to participate like the Israelites walking around Jericho. you have to move and trust that when you get moving God does miracles. why would God repeatedly asked Israelites to step out in faith and do things that ultimately he himself would do for them. it was a test of their faith. moving acting doing what God calls that Christian to do Proves that you trust and believe in him. you have to know that God does the work through you but he works through you when you start to work. so even if the job ahead of you seems ridiculous or scary get up and get going so that you can see the hand of God at work.

I have been pondering on this for a while now how do you deal with your battles. I know I have a lot to deal with in my own life is far as dealing with battles I should rely on God a lot more than I do. I worry for too much. hope everyone has an awesome week.

fall. already.

Life is been really busy for me around here I been keeping busy with the dogs and everything. selling them has been really good this year I am surprised how well it has been going. I have three males left and so if you know anybody who wants one let me know.

we are really busy in the shop right now but I can tell it is becoming fall. I am grateful for the cooler weather. they have started to harvest in the field near us which is really exciting because then we get to walk the dogs in them which gives us a nice place to Walk besides the road.

one thing I would like everybody's response on is what they think friendships are. what are they for what do they consist of does each party needs to be equally involved in the relationship. and do they have to be at the same place in the relationship in order for to work? these are just some of the questions I had and I would love to hear what you have to say.

My August

I haven't blogged in what seems like forever :) I have been putting pictures of my darling babies on ,but that has been about the extent of my being on the computer. I have been very busy last month didn't give me much time to sit and relax. At the beginning of the month we were very busy with customers and trying to take apart enough of tractors before the end of the month rush.

The second full week in August we had a show down in Kinzers, pa at Rough and Tumble the beginning of the week we got ready for the show and the Wed. thru Sat. the show was on. Then Saturday afternoon I met up with my cousin Irene and helped them with their laundry and then we went to their house and we got ready to go to the Buck to watch the big truck pull, race and such it was a fun evening spending time with her family again.

The third week we were rearranging the barn we are moving the mower decks over to where the rears were and that is a huge undertaking we didn't even get half way through because customers started banging on our door for parts so the barn is still a reck to this day :) but at least we got that much done.

The last week is my favorite to tell Ruth Ann and I got up bright and early Monday morning *3:00am* to catch our flight to Washington State. We went out to visit a dear friend of our Lisa and we were staying the rest of the week. We got out there Monday at 1:30 our time and it was funny getting off the plane and the local time was 10:30 talk about stepping back in time :) I adjusted better to that time change than the returning one. We got there and saw her on our way downstairs and we stood hugging for a long time it was so awesome to see her again!!! We collected our bags and went out to her vehicle she fed us *at her house that's normal and it is delicious food* then we drove a ways to see the Seattle space needle that was awesome and I got some great pics.........

We went to her house on the way snapping some pictures of Deception Pass Bridge the leads to their house.

When we got there we got to meet the horses, the chickens, the dog, but best of all her husband Marshall and son Ethan.

After we met them we put our things away then we went to the little town of Laconner to do some shopping and looking around it is a gorgeous little town and so quaint and quiet.
we ate at the restaurant there in Laconner and they have the best food ever ;)!

more coming later..............................
