Joyful through life!!

I don't generally share a personal post but today I'm going to!! These verses have become very special to me over the last couple of months.

James 1:2-4
My brethren, count it all joy when ye fall into divers temptations;
3. Knowing this, that the trying of your faith worketh patience.
4. But let patience have her perfect work, that ye may be perfect and entire, wanting nothing.

To be joyful when we come to a trial can be difficult but through the grace of God we can!! I have been dealing with some medical issues and making some life changing descisions and being joyful through the whole process has been difficult but through God just being there for me and giving me strength has helped tremendously.

The commentary in my Bible for verse 4....
1:4 the potential a Christian woman has for maturity relates to the realization  of her God-given destiny. She is striving to reach a goal that only  God can enable her to achieve.

God will give us the strength we need to do the things he wants and desire us to do.

Noah (the movie) CONTINUED

I just put a post about the movie (NOAH) and Living Waters Ministry   http://www.livingwaters.com/ has made their rendition of it and I like it much better!! Here is a link to watch it!! http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=A7bPCYizcFM

Noah (the movie)

This Just breaks my heart that some one would be proud of the fact that they made a movie based on the Bible but yet really has no Biblical truth I have yet to see the movie (and I probably never will) , but the Christians that have, have nothing good to say about it.

(not mine)
Note to Christians and those who believe the Bible: The producer of the movie “Noah,” a self-professed atheist, says he is proud of the fact that he’s taken a story inspired by God’s word and turned it into something so secular.

Director Darren Aronofsky called his movie “the least biblical ,biblical film ever made,” The Telegraph reported. He also claimed his leading character, Noah, was the “first environmentalist,” something that suggests the movie storyline doesn’t exactly follow the Bible’s.

And something else the suggests a serious divergence from the biblical account: Not once during the movie is the name “God” spoken, an early reviewer found, The Telegraph reported.
Christian groups have raised such an outcry that Paramount, the studio that’s put out the film, has issued an explanatory statement.

It reads, in part: The film is “inspired by the story of Noah” but at the same time, “artistic license has been taken.” The statement also gives this helpful advice: “The biblical story of Noah can be found in the book of Genesis.”

If you want to read the real version of the story it can be found in Genesis chapter 5 verse 32 then continues all the way to chapter 10 verse 1!!

Sunshine, but now cold again!!

Well I think winter has come back to haunt us again ;) I was enjoying the warm weather and being able to go outside and work without more than 3 layers of clothing on!! Oh well this will make us all that more thankful for summer when it does finally come.

On Monday we had our fourth to last chorus practice before the programs begin and I drove myself because I was taking snack and it was picture night ,but I usually go with two girls that live near here beacause I cant always have a vehicle. And it was good I drove myself because they had car trouble on the way up (thankfully it was just a malfunctioning sensor they found out) and they were 40 min late.

My dogs were also enjoying the sunshine

This is Duke laying flat out soaking up some sunshine he makes me smile so much throughout the day because he is tied right out in front of the barn and it is so comical watching him!! If I tie Matilda out there she runs around like a crazy dog because she has so much energy ,but if I had to choose between the two I couldn't because I love the equally!! Well that is all for now!! ~Rose Mary

March!!

Wow march is flying past us!! We have been having a lot of fun but it is also very cold here as well. The ice has finally melted underneath my dog pens and I finally could wash down and now it is finally clean underneath. So happy for spring being on it's way because our snow piles are finally melting away!!

I had my goats out on Sunday afternoon and they loved they walked around liked they owned the place and they loved the little sprigs of green peeking out. The cat was very intrigued by Thumper and he didn't mind her being there as long as she wasn't right there by her head. And if she got too close he would butt her away :).

I also got Matilda out and let her run wild for a bit and she absolutely loved that she is so energetic!!

Well have fun as it is getting warmer and don't get all muddy :)

My 18th Bday!!

Well as some of you know today is my birthday and I turned 18 and it made me stop and think of how swiftly life passes by!! I can't believe I am that old already and it also reminds me of my favorite verse!!

For I know the plans I have for you,” declares the LORD, “plans to prosper you and not to harm you, plans to give you hope and a future.”
(Jeremiah 29:11)

My week has been very busy! I have chorus every Monday night and this past Monday marked that we are over half way done with practices! And then on Tuesday Ruth Ann and I took her dog Lucy to the vet and she got EVERYTHING done to her because she had, had no previous vet experience. On Wednesday we worked outside because it was very nice weather! On Thursday We packed boxes and then in the evening Ruth Ann and I went to go get hay!
