Crazy Couple Weeks

Wow May is almost over this summer is going to be gone before I am even near ready for it to be. The past two weeks have been crazy busy. As some of you know I have been getting ready to move away to VA and I sent my last application in about a week ago, so I am waiting to hear from them now.

A week ago a senior class from Terre Hill were down in Grenada and one of their fellow classmates drowned. That has hit the senior classes really hard especially the one down there because they had a classmate that stayed home because he had doctors orders to stay home because he is in the last stages of bone cancer. If you think of them pray for them as the funeral is today.

Yesterday was a difficult day for me because Duke was at the vet all day having "surgery" getting his hip certified and when I went to pick him up he was very loopy he looked very worn out and tired. And while I was there I gave them the paperwork of one of the puppies that is coming back just to make sure that what the people say is wrong with it that ,that is for sure the problem.

And I also sold my goats yesterday which was very hard for me because I had raised them since they were three months old. I miss them already their little bleeting sounds and soft noses. But God has a reason for everything even though we don't understand it and I wouldn't give up the fun and experience I got from having them.

Well hope you all have a blessed day and don't get wet :)!!

FOR SALE (read description)

These two beauties are up for sale and the only reason they are is because I am going into the mission
field and am unable to keep them. Thumper (the male) (he is castrated) is very laid back and such a sweetheart and I love him to bits! Flower (the female) would be known as "Quiet-till-known" she can be a little jumpy at first but is such a sweetheart once she knows you!

I have had them since they are three months old and they are half siblings and have been together since birth so they will stay together I will NOT sell them separately. I am asking $300 OBO. Call me only if you are truly interested in the goats. Thanks (717) 271-4563

New Chapter in Life!!

There comes a point in time when you may feel like you are just standing there going no where. Well ever since the beginning of last year I had the distinct feeling I wasn't where God wanted me. So I started praying an thinking about what I was feeling.

I had always wanted to go to college get a degree in certified dog training and go into that field ,but I never really felt peace about that decision. And one evening last summer I told God "Here is my life use it in whatever way you see fit" and when you totally surrender your life to God he will move. I felt very strongly I was being called into the mission field and I wanted to respond to that call I just didn't know where and I was very much dreading telling my dad because I work for him and I wasn't sure how he was going to take my leaving.

Last Monday I told him and he took it amazingly well he has been amazing and supportive! I sent my application off on Monday to Mountain View in Virginia if that's where God wants me it will work out!! So that is what has been going on in My life!!
Blessings,

Rainy

Today it is raining and cold here so we are doing office work today :) I will be thankful when it is sunny and warm because then I can tie my goats out. Thumper isn't feeling 100% right now so I am going to the hardware store later to buy some meds for him!! Flower isn't too sure what to do with herself since her brother isn't that active right now and she walks around looking like a lost puppy.

The business here is picking up quite dramatically and it will get even busier in the next couple of weeks because since it is raining and the grass is turning green people are going to start mowing and breaking things which is good for our business.

Goats 2014

I tied the goats out tonight and Thumper loved it ,but Flower on the other hand hated being 3 feet away from her brother where she couldn't reach him and she made quite the racket but Thumper kept right on eating and didn't seem to mind that they weren't right next to one another!! They were both very good on the rope even though this was the first time they were ever tied out!! Very beautiful evening to tie them out.

Tonight I also walked both my dogs which is quite unusual for me but it was so gorgeous out and I also had an ulterior motive I have doctors orders to walk 30min a day so I have tried to take my dogs along when I go because it is so good for them too and they love having the exercise!!

Joyful through life!!

I don't generally share a personal post but today I'm going to!! These verses have become very special to me over the last couple of months.

James 1:2-4
My brethren, count it all joy when ye fall into divers temptations;
3. Knowing this, that the trying of your faith worketh patience.
4. But let patience have her perfect work, that ye may be perfect and entire, wanting nothing.

To be joyful when we come to a trial can be difficult but through the grace of God we can!! I have been dealing with some medical issues and making some life changing descisions and being joyful through the whole process has been difficult but through God just being there for me and giving me strength has helped tremendously.

The commentary in my Bible for verse 4....
1:4 the potential a Christian woman has for maturity relates to the realization  of her God-given destiny. She is striving to reach a goal that only  God can enable her to achieve.

God will give us the strength we need to do the things he wants and desire us to do.
